The chewy tail offers an appropriate chew object. The outer shell can be machine washed as needed. Heat is provided by a buckwheat packet inside the toy that is microwaved to provide warmth. Always follow product directions and test the heat of the Cuddle before placing it with your precious puppy. Puppy Cuddle Label Instructions: Microwave product on high setting for 30 seconds remove and place with dog. To wash, remove warming packet from inside of product and machine wash. Wash outside shell only. Dry completely. The Puppy Kong Teething Stick massages sore gums and keeps puppies teeth clean. It also assists in clearing the puppies "milk" teeth. Puppies need to chew, if you would prefer that they not chew your shoes or furniture, you need to provide them with an appropriate replacement.
